Not included: Foam machine (sold separately), UV blacklights (sold separately)
Do I need blacklights?
Yes. The UV-reactive glow only activates under UV/blacklight. Without blacklights, the foam will appear as standard white foam. For best results, use multiple UV blacklight bars positioned around the foam area.
How is this different from UV Foam Powder?
UV Foam Powder is an additive you mix into regular foam solution — it can be messy and clumpy. Pour & Glow has the UV-reactive agent already mixed in, so there's no powder to measure, no clumps, and no glowing hands before the party starts.
How do I use it?
Same as regular foam solution: mix 75:1 with water in a barrel or large container. Your foam machine's pump draws the solution from the container. One 64oz bottle mixes with approximately 37 gallons of water.
Is it safe for kids?
Yes. Same hypoallergenic, non-toxic formula as our standard foam — just with UV-reactive properties. As with any foam party, supervise children and avoid eye contact with foam.
Will it stain?
Yes, the UV-reactive compounds can stain clothing, skin, and surfaces. We recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting messy and testing on surfaces before use.
Does it work during the day?
The glow effect requires darkness and UV blacklights. For daytime events, use our standard 64oz Pour & Go instead — or wait until dusk for the most dramatic effect.
How bright is the glow?
Very bright under proper UV lighting. The more blacklights you use and the darker the environment, the more vibrant the glow. Test your setup before the event to dial in the perfect effect.
For Maximum Glow Impact
More blacklights = brighter glow. Position UV lights around the perimeter of the foam area, aimed into the foam. Wait until dusk or full darkness for the most dramatic effect — the glow really pops when there's minimal ambient light.
Add Haze for Next-Level Atmosphere
Want to see those UV light beams cutting through the air? Add a touch of haze using a SurgeFX Banshee Haze Machine. It creates a club-like atmosphere where light rays become visible.
For Event Operators
Glow foam parties are a premium upsell. Market them as "UV Glow Parties" or "Neon Foam Nights" — the wow factor commands higher prices. Make sure you have enough blacklights to cover the entire foam zone.
For Rental Companies
Bundle Pour & Glow solution with UV blacklight rentals for a complete glow party package. It eliminates the mess and confusion of UV powder for your customers.
Test Before the Event
Always test your glow setup before guests arrive. Check blacklight positioning, foam output, and overall effect. The 30 minutes you spend testing will save headaches during the event.
Photo & Video Tips
Glow foam photographs and videos incredibly well — but camera settings matter. Lower the exposure, boost shadows, and let the glow do the work. Encourage guests to capture content — it's free marketing.
