Does the Zephyr require CO2 or compressed air?

No. The Zephyr is a fully electric confetti machine powered by a 1500W blower motor. There are no CO2 tanks, air compressors, or canisters required — plug into standard AC power and you're operational.

How far does it throw confetti?

The Zephyr delivers a throw distance of 13–20 ft (4–6m) depending on confetti type. Lighter tissue confetti achieves maximum distance; heavier metallic confetti may reduce throw slightly.

How long does each burst last?

20–30 seconds of continuous confetti output per trigger when fully loaded. This is not a one-second pop — it's a sustained visual moment that fills the space.

How much confetti does it hold?

The Zephyr holds approximately 1.1 lbs (0.5 kg) of confetti per load. That's enough for one extended burst or multiple shorter triggers throughout an event.

What type of confetti can I use?

Standard tissue, mylar, metallic flake, and biodegradable confetti all work. Avoid confetti that's too heavy or irregularly shaped — lightweight, flat confetti achieves the best throw distance and dispersion.

Can I control it without DMX?

Yes. The included wireless remote allows standalone triggering from up to 50 ft away. No console, no cables — just point and fire. DMX control is available when you want full show integration.

What do the DMX channels control?

6 channels total: Channel 1 = Fan (confetti trigger), Channel 2 = LED Auto mode, Channels 3/4/5 = Blue/Green/Red color, Channel 6 = LED Strobe. Full control over both the confetti output and the integrated LED lighting.

How loud is it?

Electric blower operation is quieter than CO2 or compressed air systems. Stage-safe and broadcast-friendly without significant audio contamination. Expect blower fan noise during operation — not silent, but not disruptive.

Can I mount it on truss?

Yes. The Zephyr can be floor-mounted, positioned on stage edges, or rigged overhead on truss for a top-down confetti effect. At 19.8 lbs, it's manageable for truss mounting with appropriate hardware.

How fast can I reload?

Top-load hopper design allows reloading in under 60 seconds between sets. No disassembly required — open the hopper, pour in confetti, close, and fire.

Use the Right Confetti

Lightweight tissue and thin mylar confetti achieve the best throw distance and most dramatic floating effect. Heavy metallic or thick paper confetti reduces throw and falls faster. Match your confetti choice to your venue size and desired visual effect.

Don't Overfill

The Zephyr holds about 1.1 lbs of confetti. Overfilling can jam the blower or reduce throw distance. Load to the fill line, not above it. Multiple lighter loads perform better than one overstuffed load.

Position for Maximum Impact

For audience coverage, position the Zephyr at a slight upward angle so confetti arcs over the crowd and floats down. For stage-focused effects, point directly at the performance area. Overhead truss mounting creates dramatic top-down cascades.

Use the LED Colors

The built-in RGB LEDs illuminate the confetti stream as it launches. Match LED color to your event's color scheme — brand colors for corporate events, white for weddings, multi-color party mode for celebrations. The LEDs are visible even in well-lit rooms and dramatically pop in darker environments.

Test Before the Event

Do a test fire before guests arrive. Confirm throw distance, aim, and confetti dispersion pattern. Adjust positioning as needed. Better to discover issues during setup than during the first dance.

Plan for Cleanup

Confetti is fun — until someone has to clean it up. For indoor events, biodegradable tissue confetti is easiest to sweep or vacuum. For outdoor events, biodegradable is the only responsible choice. Some venues have confetti restrictions — check before you fire.
