What Makes Flurry Different
All three Snö formulas produce realistic snow effects. The difference is what happens after the flakes land. Snö Flurry is engineered to evaporate quickly — flakes dissipate within moments of touching the ground, leaving little to no residue behind. This makes it the right choice any time cleanup speed matters more than lingering accumulation.

Best For
-
Concerts & live events — Snow effect for one act, clean stage for the next. No crew needed for cleanup between sets.
-
Theme park walk-throughs — Continuous snow zones with constant foot traffic. Flakes disappear before they build up on walkways.
-
Short theatrical scenes — Snow for one scene, clean stage for the next without a scene change delay.
-
Parties & celebrations — Festive snow effect without guests tracking residue across the venue.
-
Commercial spaces & storefronts — Indoor snow displays that don't leave a mess on merchandise or flooring.
-
High-traffic entrances — Snow effect at the door without creating a slipping hazard from buildup.
Which Snö Formula Do You Need?
The SurgeFX Snö™ line includes three ready-to-use formulas and one concentrate. Each produces realistic snowfall — the difference is how long the flakes last after landing and how you prefer to buy.

Quick Decision Guide:
-
Need it gone fast? → Snö Flurry (this product)
-
Need a general-purpose snow? → Snö Drift
-
Need snow to linger and accumulate? → Snö Tundra
-
Running through gallons per event? → Snö Drift Concentrated (dilute for more volume)
Do I need to mix or dilute this?
No. Snö Flurry is ready-to-use straight from the bottle. Pour it into your snow machine's fluid tank and go. No mixing, no measuring, no water to add.
What machines does it work with?
Snö Flurry is compatible with most professional snow machines, including the SurgeFX Glacious, SF-SM1500, SF-MHS3000, and other standard snow machines that use liquid snow fluid. If your machine takes snow fluid (not dry ice, not foam solution), Snö Flurry will work.
How fast do the flakes disappear?
Flakes begin dissipating shortly after landing. The exact timing varies with humidity, temperature, and airflow — in drier indoor environments, they vanish faster. In humid outdoor conditions, they may linger slightly longer. Either way, Flurry dissipates significantly faster than Drift or Tundra.
Is it safe for indoor use?
Yes. Snö Flurry is water-based, non-toxic, and leaves minimal residue. It's safe for indoor venues, around guests, children, and pets. As with any snow effect, surfaces may become slightly damp during heavy use — plan accordingly for dance floors or smooth surfaces.
Will it damage floors, fabrics, or equipment?
Snö Flurry is formulated to evaporate cleanly with low residue. It won't stain or damage most surfaces under normal use. For sensitive environments (white carpets, expensive fabrics, delicate electronics), test a small area first or position the snow zone to avoid direct contact with sensitive items.
How much do I need?
Consumption depends on your machine, output settings, and how long you run the effect. As a general guide, plan for 1 gallon per 15–30 minutes of continuous output on a mid-sized machine (varies by machine model and output level). For a full evening event, keep multiple gallons on hand.
Is this the same as foam solution?
No. Snow solution and foam solution are different products designed for different machines. Do not use foam solution in a snow machine or snow solution in a foam machine. They produce different effects and are formulated for different pump and nozzle systems.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes. Snö Flurry works indoors and outdoors. Outdoors, wind will carry the flakes further and may speed up dissipation. In humid conditions, flakes may linger slightly longer. Adjust your machine position and output to account for wind and weather.
Match the Formula to the Job
Snö Flurry is specifically designed for situations where you need snow to disappear fast. If you want snow to linger on the ground for visual accumulation (winter wonderland displays, photo ops, slow theatrical scenes), use Snö Tundra instead. If you're not sure, Snö Drift is the balanced middle ground.
Stock More Than You Think
Snow machines consume fluid faster than most people expect, especially at high output. For a multi-hour event, plan for several gallons. Running out of fluid mid-show is preventable — buy extra. Unused fluid stores easily for the next event.
Keep the Machine Clean
After every event, flush your snow machine with clean water to prevent fluid residue from building up in the pump and lines. This applies to all snow fluids, not just Flurry. A clean machine produces better flakes and lasts longer.
Position for Maximum Effect
Elevate the snow machine above the crowd for the best visual — snow falling down through the air looks far more realistic than snow blowing sideways at head level. Mount on truss, place on a riser or elevated platform, or use a balcony or mezzanine when available.
Use Lighting to Enhance the Effect
Snow flakes are most visible when lit from the side or behind. A single spotlight or LED wash pointed across the snowfall zone makes the flakes pop dramatically. Warm white or cool blue lighting enhances the winter feel. UV lighting can add an extra dimension for party environments.
