What does this cover fit?
It's designed for the SurgeFX Universal Telescoping Foam Machine Stand. The 4-way stretch fabric conforms to the tripod shape at any height setting.
Does it fit other tripod stands?
The stretch fabric is flexible enough to fit most standard tripod-style stands in the 4–6 foot height range, but it's designed and sized for the SurgeFX stand.
How does it install?
Slip the cover over the top of the tripod and stretch the bottom pockets over each leg. The fabric holds itself in place — no clips, straps, or tools needed. Takes under a minute.
Can I still run cables through it?
Yes. Route your power cord and hose up through the inside of the cover before stretching it into place. The cables run hidden inside the scrim from base to top.
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Machine wash cold, air dry. The stretch fabric resists wrinkles, so it looks clean and smooth straight out of the bag.
Does foam solution damage it?
Foam solution won't damage the fabric, but rinsing or washing the cover after events where it gets wet will keep it looking fresh.
Is the stand included?
No — this is the cover only. The Universal Telescoping Foam Machine Stand is sold separately (from $129.00).
Install the Cover Before Raising the Stand
Slip the cover on while the stand is still at its lowest height, then extend to your desired height. This is easier than trying to stretch it over a fully extended tripod.
Route Cables First
Run your power cord and pump hose up through the inside of the cover before locking the legs in. This way everything is hidden when the cover is fully in place.
Add an Uplight for a Glow Effect
Place an LED uplight at the base of the stand inside the cover. The white fabric diffuses the light for a dramatic column glow effect — great for weddings and nighttime events.
Keep a Spare
