What You'll Need
-
Confetti/Streamers — Load your choice of confetti, streamers, or powder
-
Water Source — Fill the 32L tank for water cannon mode
-
Power Source — 100–240V outlet
-
DMX Controller — For synchronized multi-unit firing (optional for manual use)
Self-Contained System: The Titan includes a built-in air compressor — no external pump or CO₂ tanks required. Just power, load, and fire.
Confetti & Consumables
Load the Titan with your choice of launch materials:
- Metallic confetti (rectangular, square, or custom shapes)
- Paper streamers (single color or multi-color)
- Color powder (for color run / Holi-style effects)
- Tissue confetti (biodegradable options available)
Stack the Effects
Combine the Titan with other SurgeFX machines for layered production value:
Multi-Unit Control
Link multiple Titans via DMX for synchronized firing patterns — left-to-right sequences, inward bursts, outward spreads, or simultaneous stadium-wide effects.
Does it require CO₂ tanks or an external compressor?
No. The Titan has a built-in air compressor that auto-inflates in approximately 4.5 minutes. Just plug in, wait for pressure, and fire.
How do I switch between confetti and water modes?
The Titan uses a dual-tube exchange system. Swap the barrels to switch between confetti/streamer mode and water cannon mode. The system expels residual moisture quickly when switching from water to confetti.
Can I use it indoors?
Confetti and streamer modes work great indoors. Water cannon mode is best suited for outdoor events or venues where water cleanup is acceptable.
What's the safety key for?
The security key prevents accidental firing. Remove the key when not in use or during setup to ensure the machine cannot be triggered unintentionally.
How many shots per fill?
Each pressurization cycle provides one powerful launch. After firing, the compressor automatically re-pressurizes for the next shot (~4.5 minutes between launches).
Can I fire multiple Titans simultaneously?
Yes. Use DMX control to link multiple units and program synchronized firing patterns, chasing effects, or simultaneous bursts across a stadium.
Is it weather-resistant?
The Titan is designed for outdoor use but should be protected from rain during extended operation. Use a waterproof cover when operating the water cannon function outdoors for prolonged periods.
How heavy is it? Can one person move it?
At 335 lbs, the Titan is a heavy-duty machine. However, the four caster wheels with brakes make repositioning manageable on flat surfaces. Plan for two or more people during loading/unloading.
Pre-Event Setup
Arrive early to allow time for inflation and positioning. The auto-inflation takes ~4.5 minutes per cycle. Connect all wiring before pressurizing the system.
Safety Zone
Maintain a 5-meter (16 ft) safety zone around the machine during operation. Keep people, animals, and equipment clear of the firing path.
Angle for Maximum Effect
Use the ±45° adjustment to direct confetti toward the crowd or stage. For water cannon, angle slightly upward for maximum arc and distance.
DMX Programming
When linking multiple Titans, program firing sequences for visual impact: left-to-right waves, inward bursts from the sides, or outward spreads from center stage. Synchronized firing creates the most dramatic stadium moments.
Switching from Water to Confetti
The pressure system quickly expels residual moisture when switching barrels. After removing the water tube, fire a brief air burst to clear the system before loading confetti.
Confetti Selection
Metallic confetti catches light best for indoor/nighttime events. Tissue/paper confetti is lighter and floats longer. For outdoor daytime events, consider bright colors that contrast with the sky.
Transport
Always depressurize the system before transport. Check the pressure gauge, turn off power, and disconnect cables. Never move the Titan while pressurized.
Post-Event
Clean the barrels and check for confetti debris in the launch mechanism. If using water mode, drain the tank and allow components to dry before storage.
