What the SF-PR1810 Is
The SF-PR1810 is a wired, AC-powered LED par light with 18 RGBW 4-in-1 LEDs at 10 watts each. It produces broad color washes for stages, walls, architecture, dance floors, head tables, and any surface that needs to be painted with light. The RGBW 4-in-1 system means each LED contains four separate emitters — red, green, blue, and white — in a single package. This gives you full RGB color mixing for any hue you can imagine, plus a dedicated white emitter for clean, true whites that don't carry the pinkish or greenish tint of RGB-only white mixing.
The housing is cast aluminum — not plastic — with an integrated yoke bracket that serves as both a floor stand and a hanging/clamp mount point. The LCD display on the rear panel handles DMX addressing, mode selection, and channel configuration without needing a separate controller for basic setup.
Selectable Beam Angle
The SF-PR1810 offers a selectable 25–45° beam angle. At 25°, the beam is tighter and more concentrated — better for longer throw distances, focused spots on architectural features, or narrow column washes where you want intensity over spread. At 45°, the beam widens for broader coverage — better for wall washes, stage floods, and close-range uplighting where you want a wide, even field of color. This flexibility means one fixture adapts to different venue sizes and mounting positions rather than being locked into a single spread.
Who It's For
DJs, event production companies, bands, churches, theaters, venues with permanent installs, rental houses, and anyone who needs reliable color wash lighting. The SF-PR1810 runs on standard AC power (100–240V), connects via wired DMX (3-pin XLR), and is rated IP20 for indoor use. It's built for setups where AC power and DMX cabling are available — stages, venues, clubs, theaters, houses of worship, and controlled event spaces.

RGBW 4-in-1 Color System
Each of the 18 LEDs in the SF-PR1810 is an RGBW 4-in-1 package — four discrete emitter chips (red, green, blue, white) housed in a single LED unit. This is different from fixtures that use separate single-color LEDs arranged side by side. With 4-in-1 packaging, all four colors originate from the same physical point, which eliminates the multi-shadow effect and color separation that single-chip arrays produce. The result is smoother, more uniform color mixing across the entire beam.
Red + Green + Blue give you full-spectrum color mixing — any hue in the visible spectrum, from deep saturated primaries to pastels, ambers, magentas, cyans, and everything between. The onboard controller mixes 16.7 million color combinations.
The dedicated white emitter is what separates RGBW from RGB. When you mix red, green, and blue to create white, the result is often slightly pinkish, greenish, or uneven in tone. The W channel bypasses this entirely — it produces clean, neutral white light directly from a purpose-built emitter. This means the SF-PR1810 can function as a practical white light source for stage washes and work light, not just a color effects fixture.
CRI 90
The SF-PR1810 is rated at CRI 90 (Color Rendering Index), which measures how accurately a light source renders colors in the objects it illuminates. A CRI of 90 means skin tones, fabrics, set pieces, and décor look natural under this light — not washed out, overly warm, or artificially tinted. This matters for weddings, corporate events, and any application where cameras are present and color accuracy is visible in photos and video.
Beam Angle: 25° vs 45°
The selectable beam angle lets you choose between concentrated intensity (25°) and wide coverage (45°). In practical terms:
-
25° (narrow) — Use for throws of 20–39 feet. Tighter beam keeps intensity high over distance. Good for illuminating specific architectural features, narrow wall sections, focused stage spots, or long-throw uplighting on columns and structures.
-
45° (wide) — Use for throws of 6–20 feet. Broader spread covers more surface area per fixture. Good for wall washes, stage floods, close-range uplighting, dance floor color, and any application where even coverage matters more than punching through distance.
Projection Distance: The SF-PR1810 has an effective projection range of approximately 13 to 39 feet, depending on beam angle selection and ambient light conditions. Tighter beam = longer effective range. Wider beam = more coverage at shorter distances.
LED Lifespan
The RGBW LEDs in the SF-PR1810 are rated for 100,000+ hours of operation. At 8 hours per day of use, that's over 34 years before the LEDs reach end of life. No lamp replacements, no re-lamping costs — the LEDs will outlast every other component in the fixture.

IP20 — Indoor Use Only
The SF-PR1810 is rated IP20, which means it is not weatherproof. IP20 provides protection against solid objects larger than 12.5mm (fingers, tools) but offers no protection against water or moisture. This fixture is designed for indoor stages, venues, clubs, theaters, churches, and controlled event spaces. Do not use outdoors, in tented environments where rain exposure is possible, or in any location where the fixture may come into contact with water, condensation, or high humidity.
Power Planning
At 200W per fixture on standard AC power (100–240V, 50/60Hz), power planning is straightforward:
-
Standard 15A / 120V circuit (1,800W): supports up to 9 fixtures per circuit
-
Standard 20A / 120V circuit (2,400W): supports up to 12 fixtures per circuit
At 200W each, the SF-PR1810 draws well under 2 amps per fixture on 120V. For most event setups, power is not a limiting factor.

Control Modes
The SF-PR1810 supports four control modes, selectable via the rear-panel LCD display:
| Mode |
How It Works |
| DMX512 |
Full external control via wired DMX (3-pin XLR). Connect to any DMX console or software controller. Each fixture is assigned a starting address on the DMX universe. All 8 channels respond to console commands for RGBW levels, dimming, strobe, and mode selection. |
| Master/Slave |
One fixture acts as the master and controls the behavior of all connected slave units via DMX daisy chain. No console needed. Set one fixture to the desired color/effect, and every slave fixture matches it in real time. Good for uniform multi-fixture washes without a controller. |
| Sound-Active |
Built-in microphone detects ambient sound (music, beats) and changes colors/effects in response to audio levels. No controller or DMX connection required. Useful for DJ setups, dance floors, and environments where lighting should react to music automatically. |
| Auto-Run |
Built-in preprogrammed color sequences and effects run automatically when powered on. No controller, no DMX, no audio input needed. Plug in and go. Suitable for permanent installs, ambient décor, and situations where hands-off operation is required. |

DMX Addressing: Each SF-PR1810 uses 8 consecutive DMX channels. First fixture at address 1, second at address 9, third at address 17, and so on. A standard 512-channel DMX universe supports up to 64 individually addressed fixtures.
Wiring — DMX Daisy Chain
The SF-PR1810 has 3-pin XLR DMX In and DMX Out connectors on the rear panel. Connect your console's DMX output to the first fixture's DMX In. Then run a short DMX cable from that fixture's DMX Out to the next fixture's DMX In, and so on down the chain. This is standard DMX daisy-chaining — all fixtures share one DMX universe, each addressed to its own starting channel.
For runs exceeding 300 feet total cable length or chains of more than 32 fixtures, use a DMX splitter/booster to maintain signal integrity. Terminate the last fixture in the chain with a 120-ohm DMX terminator on its DMX Out port if you experience flickering or erratic behavior.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the SF-PR1810 outdoors?
No. The SF-PR1810 is rated IP20 — indoor use only. It has no water or moisture protection. Do not use it outdoors, in open tents, or in any environment where it may be exposed to rain, condensation, or high humidity. For outdoor applications, use an IP65-rated fixture.
How do I change the beam angle?
The SF-PR1810 has a selectable 25–45° beam angle. The adjustment method depends on whether the fixture uses interchangeable lens inserts or an internal optical adjustment. Refer to the included user manual for the specific adjustment procedure for your unit.
What DMX controller works with this fixture?
Any standard DMX512 controller with a 3-pin XLR output. This includes hardware consoles (like the ADJ DMX Operator series, Chauvet Obey series, or any professional lighting desk), USB-to-DMX interfaces (like Enttec Open DMX, DMXIS), and software controllers (QLC+, SoundSwitch, LightKey, myDMX). The SF-PR1810 follows standard DMX512 protocol — if the controller sends DMX, this fixture will respond.
Do I need a DMX controller?
Not necessarily. The SF-PR1810 works in four modes: DMX, master/slave, sound-active, and auto-run. Only DMX mode requires a controller. Master/slave mode lets you set one fixture as the master and have others follow it via daisy chain. Sound-active mode responds to music through a built-in mic. Auto-run plays built-in color programs on power-up. All three non-DMX modes work without any external controller.
How many can I run on one circuit?
At 200W per fixture: up to 9 units on a 15A / 120V circuit, or up to 12 units on a 20A / 120V circuit. For larger rigs, distribute across multiple circuits.
What's the effective throw distance?
The SF-PR1810 has a useful projection range of approximately 13 to 39 feet. At the narrow 25° beam angle, it punches farther with more intensity. At the wide 45° angle, it covers more area but with less concentrated output. For distances under 13 feet, the fixture works fine — you'll just have a smaller pool of light. For distances beyond 39 feet, the light will still reach but may not overpower ambient light in brighter environments.
Can I mount this on a truss or pipe?
Yes. The integrated yoke bracket accepts standard lighting clamps (C-clamps, O-clamps, or trigger clamps — sold separately). Tighten the clamp to the truss or pipe, then bolt the clamp to the yoke bracket. The yoke also allows tilt adjustment so you can aim the fixture once mounted. On the floor, the yoke serves as a built-in stand.
How heavy is it?
8.38 lbs (3.8 kg). Light enough to carry, mount, and rig easily. The cast aluminum housing keeps it solid without adding unnecessary weight.
Setup Tips
Quick Start (No Controller): Plug the SF-PR1810 into AC power. Use the rear LCD display to select Auto-Run mode. The fixture will cycle through built-in color programs immediately. For a static color, switch to Master mode and use the display controls to dial in your desired RGBW mix. No DMX cable, no console, no software needed.
-
Floor uplighting: Place the fixture on the floor with the yoke bracket acting as its stand. Tilt the head upward toward the wall or surface you want to wash. The 45° beam angle gives the widest coverage for close-range wall washes.
-
Truss/pipe mounting: Attach a lighting clamp (C-clamp or O-clamp) to the yoke bracket, then mount to the truss or pipe. Always use a safety cable as a secondary attachment point when overhead-mounting any lighting fixture.
-
Multi-fixture color matching: Use master/slave mode. Set one fixture to your desired color. Connect the remaining fixtures via DMX cable (daisy chain). Set all others to slave mode. They will mirror the master fixture's output automatically.
-
DMX addressing for multiple fixtures: With an 8-channel footprint, address the first fixture at 001, the second at 009, the third at 017, and so on (incrementing by 8). This gives each fixture its own independent control on your console.
-
Safety cable: Always use a safety cable or wire when rigging overhead. The SF-PR1810 weighs 8.38 lbs — manageable, but any fixture mounted above people must have a secondary safety attachment in case the primary clamp fails.
