Rotating Gatling Nozzle

Six acrylic tubes spin as CO₂ fires, creating a spiraling multi-stream blast pattern that spreads fog wider than a single-nozzle cannon. The rotation is mechanical — no motor, no battery — driven by the CO₂ pressure itself.

7-Color LED Light Show

Do I need electricity to operate this?

The CO₂ firing mechanism is purely mechanical — no power required. The 70W power draw is for the LED lighting in the barrels only. If you want the LED light show, you'll need a power source. If you just want cryo fog without lights, you can fire it unpowered.

What kind of CO₂ tank do I need?

You need a siphon-tube CO₂ tank. This is critical — a standard CO₂ tank (without siphon) will only release gas, not the dense white cryo fog you're looking for. Siphon tanks draw liquid CO₂ from the bottom of the tank, which vaporizes into the thick fog effect on exit. 20 lb and 50 lb tanks are the most common sizes for event use.

How long does a tank last?

Depends on how you use it. Short 2–3 second bursts (the most impactful approach) can get you 15–25 blasts from a 20 lb tank. Continuous firing drains a 20 lb tank in roughly 30–45 seconds. Most events use short, timed bursts — one tank is usually plenty for a 4-hour DJ set.

Can I use this indoors?

Yes — CO₂ fog dissipates within seconds and leaves no residue. However, always ensure adequate ventilation when using CO₂ equipment in enclosed spaces. CO₂ displaces oxygen in high concentrations, so avoid sustained, continuous firing in small rooms with limited airflow.

How does the rotation work?

The barrel rotation is driven by the CO₂ pressure itself — no motor or battery needed. When you pull the trigger and CO₂ flows through the barrels, the pressure creates the spinning effect. The rotation speed varies with how much you open the trigger.

Is this safe for outdoor events?

Yes, though wind will affect visible plume distance. In windy conditions, the cryo fog disperses faster and may not reach the full 20–26 ft distance. For the most dramatic visual impact, use in indoor venues or sheltered outdoor areas.

2–3 second blasts are far more impactful than sustained firing. Short bursts conserve CO₂, create sharper visual moments, and let the fog dissipate before the next blast — keeping each hit fresh and exciting.

Timing Is Everything

Sync your blasts with drops, transitions, or key moments. A well-timed 2-second blast during a beat drop is worth more than 30 seconds of continuous fog. The Helix's instant trigger response makes reactive firing easy.

Work the Angles

Point up for towering vertical plumes. Point at the crowd for the classic "wall of cryo" effect. Sweep side-to-side while firing for a wide fog curtain. The rotating barrels make sweeping motions look especially dramatic.

LED Impact at Night

The built-in LEDs are most visible in darker environments. For daytime outdoor events, the LED color effect will be subtle — the cryo fog itself is still the star. For nightclub or evening events, dim the house lights and let the color-changing barrels do their thing.

Tank Prep
